The staff is wonderful, too! They went above and beyond to make sure I was well taken care of. They always made sure I had everything I needed and they all did extra work to help me return to flying status.
These people are passionate professionals who will do everything they can to do their job with the highest degree of precision, patience, and quality.
No hidden charges or tricks with the billing, they clearly value integrity and transparency. They actually turned a friend of mine away at their free LASIK consultation because their eyes weren’t good candidates for the procedure. I believe they were given an option to return in 6-12 months to reassess. That is a sign of a serious business because they are willing to turn away thousands of dollars if your eyes don’t meet the right standards for a procedure.

The experience of getting LASIK at Atlantic Eye Institute was a life-changer! As a long-time glasses wearer, I was very nervous going in, but the staff and doctors addressed every concern I had and put me at total ease. The surgery itself was quick and painless – I was in and out of the office in what felt like no time! I was in for a follow-up the very next morning and my vision was already 20/15 which completely blew me away. It has been more than 6 months since my procedure and I couldn’t be happier. I was one of those people, who at one point in my life, vowed that I would never get Lasik, because I was too scared to do it. I even went in for my consultation
at the Atlantic Eye Institute and told them that just because I was there, I still might chicken out on the whole thing. However, after I met with Dr. Shmunes and the whole staff, I was all in! They patiently answered all of my questions, and made me feel so comfortable and confident, that I took the plunge. I am so glad I did, because it ended up being one of the best decisions I ever made in my life! It’s HEAVEN to never worry about contacts or glasses.
