Dr. Diaz graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of South Florida and earned her medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She completed both her internship in internal medicine and her ophthalmology residency at the University of Florida in Jacksonville, where she also served as Chief Resident of Ophthalmology. Her research during training covered complex cataract cases, wound healing during LASIK, and custom refractive surgery outcomes, work she has presented at national conferences including the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology. She is an active member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
Dr. Pabon graduated Summa Cum Laude at the undergraduate level, earned her MD at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine graduating at the top of her class, and completed her residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center. She went on to complete a corneal fellowship under Dr. Francis Price, Jr., at the Price Vision Group, one of the most respected corneal surgery programs in the country. Her surgical expertise includes cataract surgery, refractive surgery, glaucoma management including minimally invasive procedures such as the OMNI technique, and retinal disorders. She is also fluent in English and Spanish, making care more accessible for Spanish-speaking patients in the St. Augustine area.
Dr. Callegari has been with Atlantic Eye Institute since 2014, bringing over a decade of continuity to the practice’s St. Augustine patients.
